It has been one year since the Complex of Heaven has wiped out the majority of the League. Vestra, a new foe who has the power of energy manipulation, has risen from the shadows of the dark world without the League. Vestra has done the thing few villains before her have accomplished. She has taken over the world. During the League's absence she has created the perfect world of peace, controlling leaders everywhere and creating an Earth to her vengeful liking.

However, Bruce Wayne, one of the last survivors of the Complex's attack, has been hiding in the shadows waiting for the precise moment to strike against Vestra and her mind controlled Young Justice army to take his revenge. Though the year in hiding has been tough, he is more determined than ever to kill the roots of injustice that grip his world. He will stop Vestra and will do whatever it takes, no matter the price.

***This is the sequel of the book, "The Malignant Uprising," taking place after The Malignant Uprising events. Note that I would read The Malignant Uprising first because this is more of a sequel, but don't feel like you have to. I don't own any of the characters or images in this story. Cover art source: Buyartforless.***
***I've rated this story mature because of the fight scenes and depictions of violence. ***

Book 2 of the 'Demigod in Gotham' Series When Nico moved to Gotham, all he wanted was to do good. He never asked to be adopted by Bruce Wayne. He never asked for Slade to come after him. He never asked to die. And more than anything else, he never asked to be revived. ---------- "I excused what you did with Slade, but you cannot continue to break rules and put yourself at risk-" Nico laughed. "Excused? You excused it?" Nightwing approached the table, probably knowing where this was going. "Demo-" The demigod ignored his brother. "Slade wanted to sell my people as slaves. Not only did he deserve to die, but he needed to." Bruce stood up, his hands on the table. "Slade's death was not your call and I respected that-" "No, you were forced to accept it because you couldn't stop me. You wanted me to spare him, just like every single one of your sons have up until that point, but how did that work out? When did Slade ever face justice for all the things he had done after they spared him? He deserved to die for everything he had done!" "It is not our place-" "Then thank f*ck that it actually was my place to do what you never could!" Bruce clenched his jaw. They stared at each other for a long moment before Bruce finally said, "We fight for justice, not vengeance. If you allow yourself to sink down to that place, you may never come back. It will kill you if you keep on fighting to avenge things that have not even happened yet" Nico stared at his father, the rage that had been boiling underneath his skin every second since he had woken up back in November began to break through the surface. He took off his domino mask and tossed it onto the table, making sure that Bruce had to look at his eyes-- the ones that no longer resembled the fourteen year old that Bruce had once asked to join his family. "Good thing I already died then." --------- daily updates @ 12:15 am EST (starting April 8th )

Kevin Beaumont hasn't always had it lucky. Knowing that his father is Bruce Wayne/Batman, the boy never knew his own father growing up, so he only had his mother Andrea Beaumont (formerly the grim reaper-themed killer vigilante known as the Phantasm) to raise him. Despite being raised by a single mother, Kevin lived a relatively normal life. And eventually, Kevin got to meet his biological father. But after Kevin's 21st birthday, tragedy strikes when the Joker tricks Superman into killing Lois and their unborn child, causing a chain reaction in which Metropolis is destroyed, and Superman murders the Joker out of revenge, now motivated to end world violence and crime, even if it means having to kill. This leaves the Justice League divided, either allying with Clark or allying with Bruce. Seeing that Superman was right in killing Joker, Andrea Beaumont has decided to go back to being the Phantasm and allies herself with the corrupted Man of Steel, putting a strain on her relationship with Kevin and his father. With his family more broken now than ever, Kevin must overcome his damaged relationship with his estranged mother and must become a hero like his father, determined to stop Superman's new regime and rescue heroes that are missing. It'll take great willpower to bring hope back in a world of injustice. Inspired by the NetherRealm video game developed by Ed Boon and the comic book tie in written by Tom Taylor. Kevin Beaumont created by Tony Garcia, inspired by characters developed by Alan Burnett, Paul Dini, and Bruce Timm Princess Charity, Lynn Black, and Olympia Affair created by Charity Spencer Batman created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

A young vigilante has been fighting in the streets and protecting innocents for years. She was a good girl every single day and a bad bitch all night long like her idol Catwoman. The Lucky Girl would almost do things to keep her family safe from danger and others as Mouse. When she was found by her idol Catwoman at an abandoned apartment building, the Shadow Thief took full interest of her latest jewel and took her underneath her midnight fur as the Mistress of Kleptomania. They turned to law and order when they uncovered secrets about Rough Cut and his spouse Laurel Hedare. As soon as they solved both cases, the Justice League put them on the most wanted list and are needing to meet them face to face. Before that happened, Catwoman was fatally injured from a heart removal surgery by Hush and was put inside Zephyr under a medically-induced coma to stay on her lifeline. Mouse did something for her idol and needed money to pay for the treatment by the biggest heist in Gotham City's underworld history. She decided to steal from the Riddler's Robot Factory, took over 2.73 million dollars out from accounts, snatch his plans and schemes, and hacked into his security system to destroy his beloved toy shop. The Lucky Girl soon found herself marked as the most wanted heroine from the villainous underworld after stealing stratagems and ploys inside Cadmus before Independence Day. The Council of Light wants her dead, so she faked her death by falling in Hedare Beauty's drain pipe that was activated and let the water take her away to the nearest dock. Mouse retires her uniform and fixes it back right up for the next heroine that wants to have the legacy of the Lucky Girl. Please read the story and find out more. **Based off of the New 52/Rebirth Storylines as well as some Arrowverse characters** After a mysterious illness affect the men on Earth, most of the male superheroes grow too weak to fight crime. What to do when they can't fight? Bring in the girls. Kara Zor-El is a Kryptonian like her cousin, Superman. Following in his footsteps, she is a superhero better known as Supergirl. With her super-powered cousin out-of-commission, she is forced to fill in his shoes. If only being a superhero while in her junior year in high school was easier. By day, Barbara Gordon is a computer-science major at Gotham State University. By night, she becomes Batgirl, a vigilante who was inspired by Batman's heroism. While she was out of the spotlight for a long time, Barbara is back and ready to be Batgirl now more so than ever. With the boys of the Justice League out, Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, is prepared to go into battle and serve justice. As the three come together and recruit other healthy vigilantes and superheroes, they begin to realize that this disease is too drastic to overlook... I do not own ANY of the characters. DC Comics own these characters and all credit goes to them.
