Rose: a 20 year old girl who is working towards a major in English at college, spends her weekends in the summer at the local racetrack; her life is nothing extraordinary, nor is it boring. After she got her heart broken by one of the racers, all she thinks about is how love never lasts. Michael: a 22 year old boy who is a petty officer in the Navy, spends his week days working on board the USS Somerset and his weekend's playing video games; a routine thats growing old. After being let down by those who can't handle what it's like to date someone in the military, he's losing hope on ever finding a girl who's in it for the long run. But that all changes for the both of them over Thanksgiving weekend in 2017.
