It's 2022, a new game has just been released in the U.S.. But only a select few can actually log into the game. But for those few, playing it is not as happy as it seems. For, these fourteen players will have to survive horrific levels and obstacles. They've been gifted three lives but they have to be cautious. These players range anywhere from 5 to mid 20's. SOOO we obviously didn't make the deadline lol. This story is unfinished and will remain that way. This is the best example of a rushed concept with no actual plot lol. I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer! Luna's Awakening
Well, just when I thought my life couldn't get any crazier, guess what? It got crazier. Last time we met, I was trying to save myself and this guy from this malicious spirit who wouldn't leave him alone and was trying to kill him. I thought that was bad and stress inducing. Unfortunately, I had no idea what else I was in for. Compared to what I'm about to face next, that was a walk in the park. Now, my powers are growing stronger and stronger, and I'm becoming a full fledged sorceress. I am seeing more spirits, the "dark entity" I'm constantly being warned about coming, and I'm trying to brace myself for whatever this entity is. I'm also learning more about the "supernatural world," where apparently, it's where all the ghouls exist and thrive in. And guess what else? I'm going to have to go to school with them. Fantastic. There's a part of me excited, though the larger part is scared to death. Chronicles of Magic: A VRMMORPG Story
If you like things such as Overloard, SAO, or Reincarnated as a Slime, then this might be right up your alley. If you like stories where you follow the antagonist, this definitely is up your alley. The first part of this is a condensed version of half the events of how Sky began to gain power. The next part (starting at MC Meets MC) will be the isekai! Of course there's an isekai and will contain the meat of the story for awhile and takes on a new perspective through Lyra. Sky's story returns later (starting at Back To CoM: Sky's Journey Continues). I will eventually rewrite and edit this story and separate it into 2 separate self-contained books.
