Blitzen has always been able to see soulmates. It just came natural to him. Small red strings just attached people to each other. But he's never been able to see Magnus' string. Until Magnus dies. Then, a red string stretches out from him, and leads to somewhere. When a new member of Valhalla comes, Magnus' string attaches.
Blitzen knows who his own soulmate is, but never dares to speak of it. One day, when Hearth asks him a question, Blitz tells his soulmate the secret he's held in for so long.

Color. It's something our brain makes up. It doesn't really exist. So how come everyone made a big fuss about meeting and touching their soulmate so they could see in color?
