The war is over; winter has ended.

The Pevensies have been crowned Kings and Queens of Narnia; finally allowed to enjoy their magical world the way the youngest Queen might have wished they had been able to from the beginning. It is here where they learn of the legends, the tales, the many chapters of the world's history; and it is here, by the surprise of an introduction to the eldest Narnian in existence (one, it is said, to have lived from the very second the world had been created), that the new royals realise more than one story told in their world might be true, for they stand face to face with Juliet Capulet, she who, once upon a classroom, they might have thought to be nothing but a fictional concoction made centuries prior.

Thus begins the Golden Age of Narnia.

"Oh. Milady Ashton, are you going to the ball for King Peter." The young centaur shyly asked Ashton. Ashton crouched down next to her, meeting her eye level with a friendly smile, "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, little one." "You know... The ball thing... Mommy told me it was the King's opportunity to woo a lady of Narnia." She explains with her limited vocabulary and a small lisp. "A courting ball?" Ben asks the little one. "That's it!" She exclaims, "Are you going?" "I guess we will see, we haven't been back to the castle since the war," Ashton tells the five-year-old, sugarcoating her response to avoid disappointing the child. "Ohh." She nodded before leaning down to Ash to whisper in her ear, "My father told me stories from the war, of course not the stories with too much fighting, but he mentioned the greatness of the prophesied. You were always my favorite." She giggles. Ash didn't know what to say as the little centaur bounced away. She stood from the party, needing a minute outside. Edmund followed her after her, wanting to help his dear friend with the news. "Ash, I'm sure there's an explanation." "Yes, a simple one Ed. I left. Your brother owes me nothing. It is his choice. If he wants every spoiled, perfect, primitive, self-centered princess within a hundred miles lining up at his feet. That is his choice and does not concern me." Ashton admits, more negatively than she intended. "This is not going to end well." Ben comments, openly. ╣╠ Ashton returns to Cair Paravel and it is clear that in the two years she spent away, much has changed. ╣╠ Multiple POV ╣╠ Story intertwined with the golden ages after The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C. ♕ Ranked #1 Book in Narnia, #1 Book in Aslan, and #2 Book in Edmund ♕ "What?" Elizabeth exclaimed to Aslan. "I cannot possibly be the one the prophecy is talking about! Certainly I am not fit to rule. Why I'm only fourteen-years-old!" "And the innocence of a child allows them to remain pure and leaves no judgment in their eyes. Elizabeth you were born to be a Queen, you just don't know it yet." ∞ ♕ ∞ Before the famous Pevensie siblings were even born, there was another family already in Narnia. The Kirke siblings, two boys, and two girls, eventually discovered the world of Narnia themselves after the youngest sibling fell into the icy wonderland. The White Witch, believing the Kirke siblings to be the ones told in the Prophecy which stated that she would someday be overthrown by two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve, killed the two older Kirke siblings while the younger ones managed to escape. Elizabeth, the youngest of the four, was accidentally left behind in Narnia by her brother Digory II. Now hunted by the Witch, Elizabeth is on the run when Aslan, a lion who is the king and god of Narnia, intercepted the girl. Living in this country for almost 60 years, Aslan taught Elizabeth how to survive and practically raised her as his own, and gave the girl the gift of magic like that of the Witch. Digory Kirke II, now a retired professor living in 1941 England, agrees to house children during the World War II bombings of London. Soon after, four English siblings to be sent to the old country mansion with Digory II where they will be safe. One day, the youngest Pevensie sibling Lucy finds a wardrobe that transports her to Narnia just like the Kirke siblings forty years before her. What will happen when the Pevensies join the magical lion, Aslan, and the long-lost Kirke sibling, Elizabeth, where the unavoidable fight against the evil White Witch, Jadis, lingers in this mystical land? ** Cover by @ZellasDays **
