I'm supposed to be his temporary Queen, but I don't think I'm quite up to the job. You see, I have insecurities that can't just be covered up by fake smiles and making friends in high places.
I'm nothing like his ACTUAL Queen. Angelica Rose. I'm just me. I'm not gorgeous, I'm broken. I'm weird. I'm not afraid of him, per se. I'm afraid when he gets angry, which is rare.
Angelica Rose was kidnapped and she was nowhere to be found. It was months before Tony Reece decided that a temporary Queen was chosen to fill her spot. The girl he chose, was not what anyone expected, she could easily be mistaken for a 'normal' girl. She COULD blend in, if she wanted to, but she doesn't.
Tony Reece, chooses her and tells her she is ONLY temporary. However, when Angelica Rose returns from her captors, she is still Queen.
Will she continue to be a temporary fix? Until Tony Reece can decide whether Angelica is a spy or will she turn out to be more of a permanent fixture?
Tony Reece returns with his gang. More gangsters, more drama, especially because his temporary Queen is the clumsy girl, with an answer for everything, her own troubled past, and her own demons.
What will Angelica Rose think about his Queen? Because she's only supposed to be temporary, right?
