In 2072, a war breaks out between the modern sides of the Allies and the Axis. Americans, Germans and the British Colonies made up the Allies, while Russia, North Korea and China made up the main three of the Axis. The war was at its worst in 2077, when Y/N had just returned from a mission in Russia. He was sent home due to the alleged endangerment of his fellow soldiers; however, this granted him some immunity. His home was in a small town that was populated by no more than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. UPDATE: I've decided to get back on this story, but I'm going to completely rewrite it lol... I wrote this in like high-school or something, so all the grammatical errors and spelling mistakes are making me cringe!! Hopefully now with a calmer schedule I'll be able to finish it! This story begins by LOOSELY following the BoS storyline, after that it's a free-for-all. Other parts from Fallout 4 will be thrown in here in order to give the story a little kick. I did the BoS storyline a good while ago, so some of the "quests" won't be word for word :) ) but anyways,,,, It's most likely going to be a slow-burn romance (I'm making it up as I go, sorry ): ) between the reader and Paladin Danse with the probability of some plot twists (yay math)

Five years after joining the Brotherhood and 4 after joining Trinity, Artemis is sent on her first major mission. To help Elder Lyons in the Capital Wasteland with the Super Mutant threat as well as to take care of a former Brotherhood Paladin named Ashur who turned slaver. Things become complicated however when she comes across a Lone Wanderer in Megaton who is looking for his father. It's when it's mentioned that his father had a Brotherhood of Steel friend when Artemis takes interest and offers to go with him since she's also on her way to them. On their journey they come across the Enclave, an old enemy of the Brotherhood. Things come to a head as to who holds the Jefferson Memorial, the sight of Project Purity and war immediately breaks out between the two factions. A war deciding if the region gets fresh, clean water, or to make it so everyone in the wasteland becomes sick.
