'Only the unprincipled can afford emotion, particularly guilt.'
This is my first attempt at a horror short story. I hope you enjoy.
Warning: This is a story about an executioner. This goes into detail of hanging and other forms of death. If you're bothered by hanging or murder, I would not recommend proceeding.

This short story is a horror fantasy set in a city called Mortem, this city has been consistently plagued with beasts, creatures of the supernatural which have been murdering Mortems people for centuries, their origins are unknown to the people but they are not unfamiliar to them now, the eyes from which this world is perceived, is from a man called Levi Venandi, he is an ex game hunter who has turned to hunting these beasts in order to save the people, on one of his hunts he find more than what he expects and may put an end to these beast assaults.Complete
