Yellow Accomodations

Skylar Johnson is mysterious. There's something about him that everyone at Fenway High School just can't stop talking about. He's the all-American high school boy with decent grades and a knack for hockey but that's not just it. Maybe it's the mysterious smile he gives when people ask him why he moved from Texas in the middle of junior year; or how he's been at Fenway for almost 2 weeks now and even the guys that sit with him at lunch can't tell you more than 5 things about him. But he's all anyone's been talking about since third quarter started.

Marina Zain is perfect. She'll answer every question in class, always gets good grades, the leader of more than 7 different clubs at Fenway, and the main source of entertainment you'll get in your class. From the outside looking in, she's the perfect girl and everyone else seems flawed next to her. She's an open book; everything from her likes and dislikes to how her weekend was is something you can find out after a 5 minute conversation with her.

Skylar and Marina couldn't have less in common, or so they think. But there's something that keeps bringing them back to each other. Maybe it's fate, or the idea that they're soulmates but neither of them believe in either. Will they find their way to each other in time to realize what they've been looking for was in front of them all along or will their flaws get in the way of the possibility of falling in love?

Yellow Accommodations is a coming of age story about self-growth, looking past misconstrued ideas of perfection and falling for the right (or not so right?) person at the wrong time.
