Sixteen year old Bella Rose is the girl you wish you were. She has amazing friends, the best parents you can imagine, and she's even the captain of the school volleyball team. That is, until her life did a full 180°.
In a matter of of days, her life came crashing down. Her parents were killed in a crash and her friends turned to her bullies, causing her self confidence to plummet, forcing her to quit the team. Shattering her happiness once and for all, she's diagnosed with stage three leukemia.
While in the hospital, she meets Noah, a boy around her age who is oddly happy and bubbly despite being diagnosed with melanoma. Slowly, Bella gets sicker and sicker and quickly falls more and more in love with Noah. It's the perfect tragedy.

Noah destroys every life he touches. Taking his first life with his own first breath, his path of destruction only spirals from there. Consumed by guilt and reminded every day of all that he's done, he makes a terrible decision- and ends up with the only thing he's ever wanted in life. Now he's faced with a choice- lie and be happy, or tell the truth and risk losing the one person who's saved his life time and time again. The odds that all of this could happen to one person? Slim to none. But then again, they've always been stacked against him. **trigger warning for content: suicide, trauma, physical/emotional abuse** **Mature- strong language, some sexual content** My cover was created using a free stock photo I found online and the website Canva- I do not own the picture! The Boy She Saw in the Hospital

29 parts Complete Mature

"Death isn't just one thing that happens and is over with. That description fits life more. Death is eternal. I mean that's how I view it. Death brings joy and pain. In my opinion life should be viewed as death is. The end. Death is the beginning. A new life, a fresh new start. Its beauty is unmatched. I imagine it feels like stars bursting, a million smiles and just pure happiness." Cancer. What a pain. Valerie's crippling illness leaves her hospitalised, bored out of her mind, dreaming of how she just wants to be a normal teenager. Although her thoughts are constantly intruded by someone. The boy. She was intrigued by him, he visited everyday at the same time, 2:47pm. She wanted to know his story, why was he here? Is he visiting someone? Her curiosity overflowed her. Anyways, it didn't matter, for her illness was getting better and she could finally get back to school. Sophomore year. Gosh. She could finally be a normal teenager. Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self. His true self being... the boy she saw in the hospital. 🥇First place in The Star Awards 🥇First place in The Ember Awards #24 in sadromance #15 in cancerpatient finished- 22/09/22
