Lily Tapa is a 17 year old, Kiwi Australian. She has a very tragic past. Her parents and unborn brother were killed when she was just 10 years old and it has haunted her for the seven years that followed. She tries to live her life happily along with her best friend Cole but hides behind a smile. Lily faces some difficulties in this last year of high school and gives up on life itself. But there are people in Lily's life who aren't willing to give up on her as easily. Then she is struck with hope and her life starts to brighten, more than she had ever hoped for.
