Life in Coalshed was all Madelyn had known all her life: the coffee, the bookshops, and most of all, the music.
But when the quiet boy, with the grey eyes, messed up dark hair and the guitar slung over his back walks into the coffee house and into her life, it seems everyone in the small town wants to know about him, and what he's always writing in his small, plain grey notebook too.
Always one to run headfirst into a storm, Madelyn knows she'll be the one to find out.
