Mama

Brendon Orwell lost his mother in a horrendous attack that shook the whole town. He stopped attending church and made friends with three guys that would help him through anything. These friends have to pull him through thick and thin as people suddenly start disappearing with no explanation. In the centre of it, there's every reason why Brendon should've continued to attend church after his mother died. Because now Mama's coming, and Mama wants something.
