Seventeen year old Cass, short for Cassandra, was living a normal life among many, or as people in those clichéd books and movies go, and she was content. Her older brother, Anthony, was going to be going off to college soon, she was sad he was leaving, but proud of her brother. His girlfriend was nice to her, and she had a few close friends. Then, there was this fire. No one knew the cause, because the Chief of Police thought it was too obvious of a mystery to solve amidst all the chaos in the city; that it would just be a waste of time and money. There were seventeen lives lost, one of them being Anthony. after a year, Cass is greeted with a new neighbor, Evan, and a letter, anonymously written. It told her that the fire was more than what it seemed, that they knew who did it. That it was all Cass's fault. Not sure what else to do, Cass and Evan try to find the truth behind the fire, reoccurring moments in time, secrets, letters, backstabbers, and the supernatural. Looks like the truth isn't so OBVIOUS.
