This story follows a young man named Issac who is in his final semester of university. Though the union of a cordycepsian fungus and a virus turns the world he'd spent his whole life knowing into a hellscape.
This union turns those it infects in ravenous zombie-like creatures. Those things include people and animals. It starts with the usual fever before it evolves into small fits of rage. By this point victims experience bleeding from every orifice of their bodies. Making the infection process evident and agonizing before they are fully embraced by death itself. Becoming perpetually angered beings. The additions of atypical abilities are chilling and otherwordly. Leaps and bounds in terms of strength, aggression. And a horrifying cherry on top in the form of intelligence unlike anything you'll have seen before!
No where is safe in this world. Though is Issac smart enough to survive this hell and help those around him? Read on to find out~!

They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world?? The Z Contingency
The zombie apocalypse is coming. A scientist at the CDC has that terrifying realization when infected victims start displaying the symptoms predicted by his model. A virus responsible for hemorrhagic fevers is mutating into something that zombifies its victims instead of killing them. Realizing the only hope is to get ahead of it, he sets out to create a vaccine, but to create a vaccine he needs a sample of the virus. He tries to enlist the aid of a colleague to help him create the very virus he wants to eradicate, but she refuses on ethical grounds. Witnessing the horrific transformation of an infected patient forces her to reconsider, but before they can start working on a vaccine, their virus samples are stolen. As they criss-cross the country on a hunt for a cure, the paths of the two scientists cross those of a shadow organization on a secret mission, and a loose-knit network of zombie prepper groups whose loyalties are unclear. This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine.
