Will Zach find a way to fit in with his new surroundings? Then, there's Kelsey Davis, one of the popular girls of the school. She's beautiful, charming, and, of course, she can be a bit questionable. Luckily, there's almost always a side to people that nobody sees. Hanging out with the wrong crowd has gotten to Kelsey's nerves, but she doesn't want to leave her friends. Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore. Tyler Smith is known as the popular guy at school. He gets all the girls, he's the star football player, he's basically everyone's dream guy. Tyler runs into Grace and sees the scars that cover her wrists and makes it his goal to befriend the broken girl. But with a new friendship, comes new problems. Grace doesn't expect to fall for her new friend. Keeping her secret becomes harder and harder as the friendship progresses. But that's the problem. Tyler is oblivious to the fact that Grace is falling in love with him, and wants more than to just be friends. The two go on an wild ride of a one sided friendship and a one sided crush that may or may not turn into something more. Many bad memories cause her to be the way she is. She desperately wants to forget her past, including some bad things she experienced, but the memories stay stuck in her mind. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her. Due to having a terrible memory, Aiden decided to write in journals about his daily struggles, his longing for a better life, and breakthroughs that he accomplishes throughout the story. Aiden loves to sing and Write his own music. He is good at the piano but his love is the old guitar that his Gramps gave him years ago. Aiden has one younger brother named Caleb, which is the normal typical annoying brother. Aiden has a girlfriend named Tessa who lives about an hour away from him who he longs to marry. Throughout the story, Aiden struggles to move on through each day, as days turn into night and night into day, he finds himself growing colder towards his father. Who is the towns hero practically. everybody loves the star football coach, Josh Phillips. Things aren't what they seem behind doors though, their father tends to be abusive. Verbal and physical. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?Complete
