chrysta has had a really crappy childhood and doesn't want the same thing for Anne, her little sister. When the opportunity came, Chrysta signed up to train at a military camp and try to get on a mission. this mission involves going to another planet that has been predicted to sustain life. Earth is dying and all countries are at war with each other, the U.S. And Canada are in alliance and have decided that this other planet will become " earth #2" the military trained soldiers who go on the mission have to land, survive and explore the surface. After one year has passed, assuming there are survivors,they will gain 1 million dollars per person. Scientists want to make sure it is sustainable of human life... but the soldiers also don't know that they are alse looking for something else that could cost them their lives. Chrysta's goal is to get that money so her family won't have to suffer anymore and Anne can have the childhood she deserves.
