When my parents said they were sending me to boarding school three days before my sixteenth birthday, a million thoughts flashed through my head. Was this punishment? What could I have done wrong? Who worked at the bakery, in a small village called Shimmer. Eve lived there for years, working at the local tavern to earn money to help Amber.
