Christina Gilbert had to rush home from her studying abroad in Italy to mourn the death of her parents with her twin sister Elena, and little brother Jeremy. She terminated her trips abroad to return back to her old life, sharing a room with Elena, and going to Mystic Falls High, but the things is, everybody has secrets, and Christina's is Damon.
Christina and Elena were similar, yet different at the same time. Elena cared about school, and learning, so did Christina. Christina was always a little edgier, while Elena was the average goody-two-shoes, girl next door. Christina was always more outgoing than Elena, with clothes, actions, and boys. Elena always played it safe. When Christina comes back from her trip abroad, things get a little rocky between them.
