Only a couple of minutes ago, he told her to call him, which was quite strange, due to the fact that he had completely abandoned her, wouldn't text her at all, or even text a simple I love you. The past week or two have been hell for her, as she's been trying to get her thoughts organized, trying to figure out what his matter is, why he was acting so strangely. And of course, now it all made sense.
She picked up the phone, and they start talking about their days, as if everything is fine. After twenty minutes or so, a silence lays between them, and that's when she knew. The second the words "We need to talk" came out of his mouth, she knew it was over. Apparently, She's been controlling his life too much, saying that she's the reason why he's failing his classes, and she's the reason why he can't go out with friends. She's the reason why he can't do fun stuff, like racing his convertible Mustang, that stupid car that's caused so much controversy between them. Ever since he got that vehicle, she haven't felt all too safe when he drives. He lied to her, he promised her he would never race the second he bought the car. But everyone knows he races other sports cars on his way to work and back.
And that's when Casey Wright's life started falling apart, or at least that's what it seemed like to her. During her sophomore year of college, her life would turn a complete 180. Things aren't as easy as they were, but with soccer and her best friend, Hailey Stephens, the roughness of Casey's journey is soothed. She finds out things she never thought she would be experiencing, and as things become amazing in her life again, something snaps, leaving her all the way at the bottom once again.
