A not so normal 17 year old. his mom was a drunk, but what's worse she was abusive. his father was never home to take her lashings so alternatively he had to. is father then leaving his mother once finding bruise as big as golf balls on his son. that day was hard for James, not because his mother was in pain, but because he wasn't the one to hurt her like she did him.
