Kai Matthews is an ordinary teen living an ordinary life. Sort of. Aside from the fact that he is transgender and his mom refuses to accept it. But take that out of the equation and he's about as ordinary as it gets. 

He doesn't have many friends, he has his best friend Alex and all his online friends from the LGBT group chat his step dad made him create. Almost everyone in his life is very supportive, even his 8 year old half brother, Nick. People at school don't think twice about it, he said he's a boy named Kai and everyone went along with it. 

Things are pretty great for him. But all good things must come to an end. Everyone he cares about gets taken from him and he's the one who gets blamed for it all. In the end, he has to choose whether he'll give up and lose everyone, including himself, or stand up and face his biggest fear to save them.All Rights Reserved

In this coming-out story, I delve basically into what was my young teenage years - so I included quite a lot of things I went through.
