Many years ago in the nation of Panem, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark won the 74th Hunger Games as the "star-crossed lovers from District Twelve." Now, it's a completely new set of tributes, as it's the 98th Hunger Games. Though Marina and Finnegan Steelhead from District Four have almost nothing in common with Katniss and Peeta, they do share one thing: Love. So when Marina is chosen to go to the Games, what will her younger brother Finnegan do? Will he volunteer and be a good brother, for the sole purpose of helping his sister, or will he stay and pray that his sister will come out alive? The answer is: Volunteer, of course. But the Capitol got angry with Katniss and Peeta for, well, both surviving, which means that there will only be one survivor from now on. But which one of these two siblings will have to die? Or will they both have to lose their lives? Or will love be on their side and save the day once again?

Catching Fire: The New Story

85 parts Complete

(First Book in Hunger Games: The New Story series by PeetaLovesKatniss) [Under Editing] Katniss must learn how to love Peeta, and in a much loving way to show the Capitol the realism of the star-crossed lovers love. Because of the first Games, Katniss made idiotic decisions, putting herself and everyone around her in danger, and to their death sentence. She never knew she'd be where she was multiple times as she walked the road of her tragic life, but when the Capitol interferes with her life, mostly her love life, which she is finally enjoying as caring for, she knows she can't win this time. Even with how hard she tries, she just can't win this time. She wants to, but the consequences are deadly. It's all, or none. Her life or his. Her family or her nightmare. Loneliness or death. The finish line or war. ~ *under revision* Open 27 September 2013
