"Are you cold?" he questioned her and taking a step closer, he took hold of her arm. 

"No" she whispered, her gaze falling everywhere but his face.

Delilah shivered and her cheeks reddened as he caressed her arm with his thumb.

"You have got goosebumps. Are you sure?" he drawled in a low, smooth voice.

"I must leave now. It is already midnight." she tried getting her hand out of his grip. She saw him raise an eyebrow at her.

 Taking note of her shyness, a smirk tugged at his lips and he suddenly pulled her closer making her gasp.


"What-we must go now. This is the Prince's room. We will be decapitated, for all I know." she tried reasoning, hoping this would distract him but with her finally being this close, all he could see was her crimson cheek and bambi eyes. 

All he could hear was her ragged breathing and frequent gulps. All he could think about was how she would look, feel, sound writhing underneath him.

Sighing, he let go of her hand, knowing she still had much to learn and that pouncing on her right away would do no good to either of them.
