Akiva has always led a normal life, even though she's always felt like she's been on the outside looking in. She has one true friend, Zaria Thorn, another outsider, whom she's known since Kindergarten. Zaria has always been there for Akiva, having her back, sticking up for her, protecting her. Now High School is coming to an end and Akiva is looking forward to a long, lazy summer with her best friend before they head off to College together.
But Akiva's perfectly normal world gets flipped on it's head when her parents disappear without a trace and an attack is made on Akiva's life.
Now everything isn't what it seems. Her world, her family... even her only friend isn't exactly who she says she is.
Akiva's eyes are opened to a whole new world, a world she was born into but had no knowledge of, a world that desperately needs her help. A war has been waging secretly for years and only Akiva can end it, but first she has to choose a side.

However, her views are tampered with as she is kidnapped and pulled into the lifestyle of pirates where she is exposed to the class discriminations, the poverty, magic and the raw power that people, especially women, can have when driven and determined. You never would've expected that her parents are also two of the most powerful wizards you'd meet, much less her belonging in the most powerful team in Fairy Tail. The team includes: Storm Fullbuster - An Ice Make mage and Ice Demon slayer with a very chill personality. *cough* Reiki Fernandez - A Sworded mage and minors in Heavenly Body magic, which he's only mastered one or two spells. He's extremely strict and keeps things in order Nova Dreyar - She mainly uses Lightning Dragon Slaying magic, but her Lightning Dragon take over is extremely powerful. She's can be calm and is as logical as Reiki. She gets annoyed easily, however. Gale Redfox - A Metal Dragon Slayer and uses Solid Script magic. He's very stubborn and is very... rough.
