The Great Eight

In a post-apocalyptic future, where the human population has been greatly reduced, dogs roam free in the wilderness--some purebred, some of mixed heritage. A young beagle named Riley and his foster brother Ricochet go to join The Flashing Fangs, an army of dogs based in an abandoned city. Upon arriving there, they realize that The Flashing Fangs is highly selective in which dogs they allow to join. However, one platoon leader, a German shepherd named Blackjack, sees potential in them, and recruits them to Platoon 8. It frequently called"The Loser's Platoon," as its members are seen as weak by most of the army. However, as a great threat approaches the city, Platoon 8 might just be made of the right dogs who can take it down.
