Queen Allura is creating an army to take the rich kingdoms with. Rumors have spread that she has dragons locked away, waiting to burn her enemy's into submission. But it turns out that's not the case, she does in fact have dragons, but these dragons only care about the golden promises she made them.
Also the dragons look like night fury because I thought it would be easier to imagine then me trying to explain some crazy dragon designs that are all different. Boom, there, your mind can rest.
