Meet Evangeline. Everyone calls her "strong-willed" but she hears what they don't say to her face. That she is too blunt, too sarcastic to have a single friend, which was for the most part true. Keeping to herself was something that she liked to do and some of the people in the small town of Bayou La Batre, Alabama did not like her closed off ways. She gets constantly picked on in her high school but unlike most, she fights back. Pegged now as the "Troublemaker", Evie's world has become a living hell of snotty church moms, idiots around every corner and a math teacher thats goal in life is to fail Evie. She plans to leave on her eighteenth birthday that is now only days away but something happens that day that she was not planning for.
