Lucy was everything except what her parent wanted her to be. Her grades were slipping she was close to being expelled. She would have been expelled if it weren't for her families money. As for Natsu he doesn't have all the money in the world but when his grades start slipping his mom calls an old friend that just so happens to be Lucy's dad. At fist Natsu nor Lucy are happy about this. While living together their bond grows strong and they begin to hope for something more then friends.
