Anaya is Aangs other half. Not related by blood but related by spirit. Like the avatar, Anaya can enter the spirit world and go into the avatar state but she cannot controll all four elements, only the element she was born with. 

After the fire nation attacked the air nomads, she was captured so the firelord would have the only airbender alive. But what happens when Anaya escapes and joins team avatar?

Aang believes he has to save the world on his own, but he isn't alone, he has his Fire Angel at his side. The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending.
