Greece, Germany and Russia decide to form an unholy alliance with the objective of breaking the back of democracy in Europe and crashing the European Union. Themis Xenakis the prime minister of Greece has a plan to loosen the shackles of austerity in Greece as well as line his own and closest colleagues pockets with untold wealth. To do this he must not only align himself with Germany and Russia but also commit murder and high treason. He blackmails an old university colleague Alex Kalfas into taking a high level position in the Greek government little knowing that he has appointed a CIA sleeper. Unknown to him, a clandestine offshoot of MI6 is supporting a military coup in Greece in an effort to stop Greece slipping too far left. Alex teams up with the beautiful Gitta Lehrer his CIA handler. Together they set out to prevent Europe plunging into economic darkness.
