His hand slides down, fingers curling around my thigh, squeezing it firmly. My body trembles, and without thinking, I pull myself up onto my toes, wrapping my arms around his neck, drawing him closer. Our lips meet. It's not gentle. It's hungry. Wild. A collision of lips and teeth, with the taste of alcohol and something else - something darker. His kiss is the kind that sets everything else on fire, and in that moment, nothing exists but him and me, our bodies pressing tighter, as if the world around us has faded into a blur.
