One fateful day, I was sailing alongside the carrier Queen Elizabeth. I disappear into a mysterious fog and emerge on the other side to see that I somehow gone to a different past. Sirens are described as the most hauntingly beautiful and dangerous beings of the sea. They are rumored to lure sailors with their hypnotising songs. Ever wondered why? Our story begins in a small coastal town nestled between mountains and the shimmering, endless ocean. There, a young woman by the name of Marina resides. Marina's tale doesn't start as a Legend, Myth, or Fairytale, but as a rumor. Known for her celestial beauty and captivating voice, her destiny is not one she chose but rather one that was forced upon her.Complete
A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Complete

Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but in this world, he was seen as a liability, he was unable to find a friend, someone to connect to, all because he couldn't walk to a conference room, having his only solace be the bedridden USS Yorktown. After gazing to the ocean once more, he turns to head back, but was knocked unconscious, an act seen by many of the shipgirls. It was the Sirens, coming to gain a new follower.Complete
