Christina is a teen that lives a less than normal life. With her family having the ability to harness a rare genetic power, Christina is seen as unordinary when it comes to fitting in with her brother and sister. After one night when her mother is kidnapped, and the next, her house is attacked by the same hunters, Christina meets an unfamiliar family member, who takes her and her sister to the mansion he lives in. There he trains his sister to fight. While forming a plan to rescue their mother, Christina learns that she doesn't only harness a rare power similar to her family's, but the one who kidnapped her mother is someone she is far too familiar with.
