When most people hear of the word Ballet, or Ballerina, they think of a girl in a pretty pink tutu turning around in circles. I'm not saying they are wrong, but it is not all that there is to dancing. When a girl puts on their next costume, and walks on that stage, she is no longer herself. Her face is a mask and her body works like a piece of art. Let me explain to you how the life of a dancer really works. It all begins with a little girl asking her mother to sign her up for dance lessons. In this case it is a girl named Rosie. And this is her story on how she got On Top.All Rights Reserved

Sometime I would want to call out to her, get her to turn my way, but I never want her to stop her. She would dance as if tomorrow was never going to come. The life in her feet, the gentleness in her hands and the smile on her face, makes me go into another world with her. Just us two. Opal, holds a dark secret. The bruised on her body, hidden from everyone while she smiles, like everything is alright. She dances, not because she has to but because she want to. Those few minutes where her feet takes her to a whole new world, where it's just her and the song. Zayn Malik, sits at the top of the school's social ladder. Never cared for relationships and clingy girls. From the beginning he has had his eyes on a particular dancer. One that dance in the park alone, and always seemed to be in a different world when she dances. He caved her, wanted her since the first time he saw her dance. Wanted her to be his and only his.

A girl named Selena, 15 years old, is basically like your real life Cinderella. Mean step-mother, and mean step-sisters. She does basically everything Cinderella would do. But, she just doesn't put up with being treated like crap at home by her step-mother and step-sisters. She gets bullied by a popular group at school, with the group containing 5 boys: Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Max George, and Tom Parker. Everyone basically just falls at their feet. Girls drool over them, and boys want to be them. Ever since they started at Allenwood Academy, and she met them, they've hate her, and she hates them too. Allenwood Academy announces that they will be having their 50th annul Masquerade Ball. Selena hasn't gone ever since she started at Allenwood Academy, but her 2 best friends convince her to go this year. Selena gives in, and goes. What she doesn't know, is that she dances with one of her enemeys: 15 year old Nathan Sykes. She leaves after she dances with him, because she wasn't aloud to go, under her step-mothers orders. When she goes to leave, her mask falls off when she turns around. Nathan picks it up, and runs after her, but it's too late, because she's gone. The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena. Will Nathan stop bullying her, or will he bully her more? Will her step-mother find out that she left the house? Will Selena get pulled out of Allenwood? What will her step-mother do to her? Will Selena get kicked out of the house? Follow Selena on this crazy mixed up adventure. Pretend that your Selena, and see if you would be able to survive her life.

The life of a dancer. It's brutal. There are upsides that make you scream with joy, and downsides that make you wish you had never been born. Its painful. Its tough. But I doubt any dancer would rather do anything else. Ophelia Patterson is a dancer, and exceptionally good for her young age of 14. She has a whole family at Step II Dance Center. She loves what she does, and her friends agree. Ophelia battles balancing her dancing with her schoolwork, and staying on top of everything. Dive into this wonderful year, as they experience pain, happiness and joy. I created this story about my life, and the characters are real people, I have given them different names for the sake of the story. I've made some stuff up, a lot of the details are not exactly true. I have tried to make personalities and appearances as true as possible, but a lot of other details, such as family, will be entirely made up.
