The story takes place in England, in a small village, far from London where the Knight pack rules the territory led by their Alpha John Knight, a successful business man and an amazing leader. The story revolves around the platonic relationship between Gabriel, Alpha John's only son and Anna, his human childhood friend who moves to live in London at the age of 12 and after 4 years returns in the village for her summer holidays to help her grandmother run her small VET hospital. The plot starts to thicken when one fatal evening the VET place receives a wounded wolf that seems to act odd and look almost familiar to Anna, not to mention that he has the exact same shaped scar on one of his paws as Anna's old friend Gabriel. And Anna should know a lot about this scar as she gave it to him on his 8th birthday when he broke her favourite doll. This new revelation, together with many other unchqaracteristing adventures shakes Anna to her roots and makes her question the simple balance between what's fake and real. However more pressure will be thrown at Gabriel when he realises that his best friend, now slightly foreign to him, is his mate who not only does not believe in fairy tales but cannot even feel the mate bond between them and the more time goes by, more she distances herself from him and more his craving for her grows, to such extent that he no longer trusts himself alone with her in the room. How will Gabriel tell his bet friend the truth? Will he have a chance to do it himself before Anna becomes the victim of total strangers who are not welcome in the society and who go by the name tag of a ROGUE? *********************************************
