Most 8th graders in my school are dreading going to high school in 2 weeks, but I can't wait. I know that I should be enjoying every last minute of summer but there's one little problem. My dad thinks I'm still a little girl who needs to have a parent with me everywhere I go. I can't go to the movies with my friends, and if I asked him if I could go on a date, he'd probably laugh in my face before explaining, for the millionth time, that "I'm too young to be with a boy without a parent or trusted adult around." I thought showing him I could be responsible would be easy once high school started, but that was before I went to the orientation and my mission got a little bit more complicated. Here's the story of what happened at my high school orientation.

My Step Brother series:) Lloyd Walters is... Well soon to be my step brother since my mom is marrying his dad by the end of the summer which is two months from the present... Problem is I liked him since the day I laid eyes on him at the airport when I came to New York from London. He could be a player to the feminine gender and I act like I don't care and unaffected by it, pretending to hate him but recently, he's been flirting to me and has been so sweet and we've been close... Too close... And I realized something, I started to like him more than I should, and the wedding couldn't happen. Can we stop it from happening?
