I've never really thought ofmyself as an emotional person. After he left, I can't really say I've been the same. I think back to his goofy smile, innapropriate jokes, his unconditional love for my preschooler's, but most of all, I miss seeing him everyday.

Emma Rose is a senior at Blindwood High. She has been a gymnastics coach since she injured herself at 15. About 5 months ago, the building she coached in previously got moved into Lawrence's Sports Pavilion. Now, at 19, about to graduate high school, her whole life currently revolves around coaching gymnastics, graduating college, and getting over her ex.
Elijah "Eli" Taylor is in his junior year at Farley University. He is majoring in graphic design with the intent to write and design his own animations and comics. Weeknights, Eli works the front desk at the Pavilion. Most of the time, you can find him on his phone watching whatever game is on or downstairs in the gym playing with the preschool classes.

I woke up in a hospital bed, the pain I was feeling was intense. All I remember was practicing gymnastics and then well everything went black. And now the only things I hear are the sound of my heart monitor and the slow dripping of the IV into my arm. Throughout the story Jessica's family breaks, her friendships grow, her trust deteriorates, lost loves return, many tears are shed and hearts are broken but despite the pain her life goes on.
