Riley Hope was your average girl. She wasn't a good girl, bad ass girl and definitely not a whore.
She like to think she was nothing. And she hoped she was nothing because the school's bad boy Zack Taylor has been picking on her since grade school till now.
Zack was you typical bad boy that slacked off and slept with the half of the population. Riley liked to disappear into her world of shadowhunters, demigods, dauntless etc. Reading is all that ever made her happy.
She was pretty happy until that day she got stuck in the janitor's closet with Zack. Riley would have preferred to loose her memory by the memory serum.
Little did Riley know Zack would make her life more interesting

Riley was dealt a bad deck of cards in her life. Her mother passed giving birth to her, and her father blames her for his wife's death. He abuses her non-stop, and there's nothing she can do about it, even if she tried. That's when Spencer comes along.
