Freedom Reynolds: A California born and raised cheerleader and contemporary dancers' mother gets thrown in jail for illegal drug use and attempted murder. She and her older sister Reign gets sent to Atlanta to live with their uncle in Atlanta until her mom gets bailed out. By until then, she might as well make the best of it.

Quincy Carter: An Atlanta born and raised dancer and king of parties ends up living right next door to the new girl and falls right when he lays eyes on her even though his family and her family don't exactly see eye to eye.
