Deep into the space-time continuum, dialga and palkia battle due to their never ending rivalry. One day, something odd happens on earth. High tides and a odd amount of thunderstorms occur, and pokemon are becoming much more dangerous while wild and free. Not only that, but a strange dark looking creature has now appeared during these odd occurrences and has been called "alpharius, the dark origin pokemon" by famous pokemon professors such as elm, rowan, oak, birch, sycamore, and juniper. No one has been yet to survive a encounter by alpharius, only leaving quick photos of it. What is to be of earths future? Read to find out!

While helping good old Bill with a new experiment, Crystal--who is now known as Pearl--sent herself into a different dimension that is inhabited by Pokémon. The thing is, the time she enters is due to accident that she doesn't realize, and also one of complete darkness. She meets a Treecko and Celebi who have talked about changing the dark fate of their world, and she helps set their plan in motion. Before action, however, they have much work to do. They explained the Time Gears to Pearl, and those were what needed to be found to prevent the paralysis of the world. They also trained in combat, history, and ancient languages. In the midst of it all, Treecko evolves, and Pearl reveals the possibility of this future becoming non-existant, along with the rest of the Pokémon. Still, they continue their journey to save the world from darkness and enter the past, as Temporal Tower starts its collapse. This is set before the story of PMD: Explorers of Sky. This is my story plot, and Crystal/Pearl is my Trainer OC. I have a previous book that I recommend, but it doesn't add much to this story or the next. Synopsis: A future where time has completely stopped, everything is drained of life and colour and there was never a hero to prevent such a catastrophe from occurring in the first place. It truly was a world trapped in darkness. Pokémon have been easily corrupted by said darkness and it seems there is very little hope. But then again, hope is something that is very hard to kill. A certain, young Treecko, along with their found family simply look to survive in this dreary world. But Treecko has a much bigger dream. What if...the state of the world could be reversed? What if the sun shined again? What if the wind blew again? What if they could create a brighter future for those in the past? With the help of a wounded Duskull, his adoptive mother Espeon and his fellow family members of a timid Froakie, a Braixen cursed into silence, a former outlaw Midnight Lycanroc & a mask wearing Zoroark, he looks to seek out the mythical "Celebi", who may provide a route to make his dream a reality. But of course, the dark forces will seek to snuff out any potential light at the end of the tunnel. Dialga, now gone primal, seeks his own self preservation, even if it includes commanding a Pokémon suffering through grief to do his bidding. Learn of the story of the Pokémon of the future, of the Treecko who would partner with a human to change history, of how friends would turn into enemies and how things played out from their perspective. The plot of this fic is loosely based on the ROM Hack "Special Episode 0: In A Dark Past", with changes to the tone being somewhat less dark and alternative characters in different roles. This fic also coincides with "The Heroes Of History", with events from that intertwining. Cover Art is a placeholder, until I get the actual cover art commission I'm waiting on
