"Where's my dad?" Testing my luck, I force myself to my feet.

"Gone. He left your worthless self here," Alpha Jason laughs back at me. Once again his open palm hits my face, knocking me back to the ground.

Forced from her pack Alexa Hugh and her father try to start a new life. Thinking they finally found somewhere they could call home; they have no idea how wrong they were until it's too late.
