Roper is a Dúnedan - a Ranger. As a child he was brought up in the Bree-Land, but after the kidnapping of his brother, Gandalf took him away to join his kin in the protection of West: a solemn calling laid upon the descendants of Isildur. From the troubled boarders of the Shire to the growing darkness of Mirkwood, He must learn what it means to be a Ranger - to face hardship and toil and love for the protection of Middle Earth. While there are well-known characters including Gandalf, Legolas, Tom Bombadil and Golberry, and Elladan and Elrohir, Roper is a completely original character as is Lorellin - a daughter of the Dúnedain whom he works beside - and I am not following any part of LotR or The Hobbit, as this story takes place years before. This is a preliminary draft, and I do appreciate support! Enjoy!

A story set in Middle Earth where much of the action takes place during the Seventeen year gap between chapters one and two of Fellowship of the Rings. Aragorn Chieftain of the Dúnedain, witnesses the birth of the child of his cousin. Lord Beren and his 'barren' wife Naerien. Their longed for, miracle child. However, Anberenien is no mortal. But Angelic Maia, Almárie the Blessed, with little memory of her true nature. Akin to the wizards who walk Middle Earth under the guise of old men. Saruman betrays her presence to Sauron, with whom she has a forgotten past. Will Anberenien remember her true self and her mission, or fall into the hands of the Dark Lord and his cruel servants? Book One in the House of Greenleaves series. Please note: My stories follow the Lord of the Rings book lore and chronology as much as possible.
