The tales of the old folk speak of winged beasts of armor and fire. Each beast similar to its surroundings in looks and behavior. From the mountains to the seas, each beast was seen as a bad omen ever since the war story was found on an old stone. It was scratched into the hard surface with a sharp object, only to be assumed to be the terrible claws of the beasts themselves. These beasts were called dragons.
