enquanto ouvia ela dizer que iria embora,
ele olhou para a costa, do outro lado da ilha, e viu as ondas acariciando suavemente as rochas, 
na verdade ele preferia que ela ficasse; que alguma coisa da força dela, como também o rosto e o olhar banhado de luar e as coxas e os cabelos perfumados de mar, 
que fizeram ele pensar, poético, que ela deveria ser livre (como as ondas do mar) de ir e ,como uma predestinação, voltar. 
Era algo que ele pressentia forte.
