Every year on the same exact day, every citizen of the Bunker must gather for a ceremony called The Choosing. On this day, the government chooses at random eight cyberhumans to compete for the honor of joining the ranks of the elite cybersoldiers known as Guardians. Omega is an eighteen-year-old cybersoldier whose augmentation surgery went wrong as a child, leaving her with the emotions of a human. Knowing that the government would surely deactivate her and scrap her for parts if they discovered this, all Omega wants is to keep her head down and live a modest life within the Bunker. However, her future becomes uncertain when her name is among the chosen for the competition. As she's pulled into a game of corrupt politics and survival, will she be able to keep her secret?
