Ruby Koshi is your typical teenage girl who has obsessions with bands and singers and anything girly. She was born and raised in La Push before moving to Washington. Now, she was moving back.
Of course she didn't know anyone but her best friend, Kim Conweller, to whom she's kept in contact with since the day she left. When she arrives, she's surrounded by a bunch of hot, muscular, attractive, shirtless guys.
She befriends them all, until she meets Jacob Black.

So, I really do look forward to hearing from you later, Kaiydeen." It's like I've been taken hostage by his electric stare. I don't want to look away. I never want to look away. The busy noises of the street and the honking of the traffic fade as I lose focus, nothing strong enough to force my attention away from this boy. Finally, Archer loudly clears his throat as he flings his door open and plops into the car with a huff, breaking the trance between the two of us. I look away as I withdraw my hand from his grasp, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. This is going to be a long 6 months. ●●● Kaiydeen has always known what she wanted, more like who, but she never knew exactly how to get it. So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect. Someone that has always had an eye for her, and he isn't satisfied with biding his time until she's his.
