Brandi had just finished her first year of college, and was ready for some much needed time off. She and her best friend, Kalyn, were going to go live with Brandi's dad for the summer in small town California. Expectations of sun, sand, and relaxation filled her day dreams. There were things she needed to forget.
College hadn't gone as expected, but of course, nobody expects what happened. And Brandi was determined to put everything behind her; to start new, or, get back to who she was. Besides, in California, nobody knew. Not even Kalyn. She was determined to leave the drama behind her.
What she didn't expect though is the neighbor boy. And he was going to throw a wrench in her plans.
