When Tess' 16-year-old mind practically implodes, she and her best friend Alex must find a way to stop war between two countries- Imperium, her home country, and Nihilbellum, their neighboring country. However, doing so will unveil some dark, twisted secrets about their country. And above everything else, her two-week-old depression makes everything worse. Can Tess and Alex find a way to stop this war? Or will they die trying?
