Since I was only 2 hours alive, I haven't been able to die. Some treat it as a gift, a cure for anything except old age, a heart attack, or a brain aneurysm. To me it's a curse. If you aren't born into one of the ancient families you have to serve as a servant of the aristocracy until you die. 
There's one way out, but it's hopeless.
Every year one person out of millions is given the cure to our "temporary immortality" serum. they let you kill yourself and have the chance to be reborn as an ancient heir or be dead forever.  It's called  the death lottery.  once you're 18 you're entered, But I don't want to play and I'm  willing to do anything not to.
